5K and Fun Run
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the 3rd Annual 5k and 1-mile Fun Run at Bean Days 2026!
This year, we have the pleasure of partnering with the newly founded HORACE RUN CLUB!
Last year, we had more than 100 runners register.
This year's goal is to make the run even better, featuring:
-Archway
-Official starting line
-Race clock
All runners will receive a custom Bean Days medal!
IMPORTANT:
We are placing an order for t-shirts on August 19, 2026.
Anyone registering after this date will NOT be guaranteed their requested size.
5k Race Route
The 5k race route begins on Front Street in front of St. Benedict's Church. Racers will head north and run along Lakeview Drive. They will then head west along the pedestrian path just south of 76th Avenue South, before heading south again along Cub Creek Way and 63rd Street South. They will then run along Wall Avenue East before heading north again along Front Street and back to the finish line at St. Benedict Church!
1 Mile Fun Run Route
The 1-Mile Fun Run will begin on Front Street in front of St. Benedict Church. Runners will head north before turning right onto St. Ann Avenue. They will then turn left onto 63rd Street South. They will then run west along Wall Avenue East before heading north again along Front Street and cross the finish line at St. Benedict!
